Emotional Shrapnel was written for my love of my life. It’s about taking a step back and gaining a deeper understanding what it means to love a person. That no one is perfect, that the mistakes I make in love is due to the fact I’m still knowing to love myself. And I can only love a person to the depth of how much I love myself. It’s about making mistakes in love, and coming to the realizations of the things I take for granted when it comes to being loved by another and gaining a deeper understanding of what the meaning of love is all about. It’s about getting to know oneself and to learn to trust in love instead of running away from it.
